TELPAS is a valuable tool to understand English learners’ language abilities, set learning goals, and plan for instruction. You can ensure your students are making steady progress toward their English Language Proficiency Growth Goals throughout the year and are prepared for spring testing with the Connect to Literacy™ online TELPAS Review and Readiness — Listening and Speaking program. Developed specifically for the Texas English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), Connect to Literacy offers more than 2,000 practice items modeled after the 14 TELPAS Listening and Speaking item types. Using Connect to Literacy, your English learners will develop their vocabulary and communication skills more quickly and be prepared for success on TELPAS.
