Summit K12 Guarantees

Connect to Literacy—Texas Language Proficiency Growth Guarantee

We Guarantee that all Emergent Bilingual Students will gain one language proficiency level per year as measured by the TELPAS Composite Score OR, we will refund or credit the license fee for students who do not achieve this proficiency growth.

To qualify for the Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

1. Purchase the Connect to Literacy Program for all Emergent Bilingual students districtwide OR schoolwide if purchased at the school level.

2. Purchase Professional Development – Including Initial and Follow-Up Teacher PD.

3. Students must complete the following ELD Benchmark Assessments and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) prior to the administration of the TELPAS Assessment:

Listening-Speaking ELD Benchmark Assessment #1 and PLP #1
Reading-Writing ELD Benchmark Assessment #1 and PLP #1
Listening-Speaking ELD Benchmark Assessment #2 and PLP #2
Reading-Writing ELD Benchmark Assessment #2 and PLP #2
Listening-Speaking ELD Benchmark Assessment #3 and PLP #3
Reading-Writing ELD Benchmark Assessment #3 test and PLP #3

4. Program Implementation must begin no later than September of the School Year in which the Guarantee would apply.

5. Students must have taken TELPAS during the previous school year.

Connect to Literacy—California Language Proficiency Growth Guarantee

We Guarantee that all Multilingual Learners will make one English Language Proficiency level gain per year as measured by the ELPAC Overall Score OR, we will refund or credit the license fee for students who do not achieve this proficiency growth.

To qualify for the Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

1. Purchase the Connect to Literacy Program for all Multilingual Learners districtwide OR schoolwide if purchased at the school level.

2. Purchase Professional Development – Including Initial and Follow-Up Teacher PD.

3. Students must complete the following ELD Benchmarks Assessments and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) prior to the administration of the ELPAC Assessment:

Listening-Speaking – Oral Language ELD Benchmark Assessment #1 and PLP #1
Reading-Writing – Written Language ELD Benchmark Assessment #1 and PLP #1
Listening-Speaking – Oral Language ELD Benchmark Assessment #2 and PLP #2

Connect to Literacy – WIDA ACCESS Language Proficiency Growth Guarantee

We Guarantee that all Multilingual Learners will make one English Language Proficiency Level gain per year as assessed by ACCESS OR, we will refund or credit the license fee for students who do not achieve this proficiency growth.

To qualify for the Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

1. Purchase the Connect to Literacy Program for all Multilingual Learners districtwide OR schoolwide if purchased at the school level.

2. Purchase Professional Development – Including Initial and Follow-Up Teacher PD.

3. When it is not possible to complete all Benchmarks and PLPs before the ACCESS administration due to the later start of the school year, students must at least complete ELD Benchmarks and Personalized Language Plans #1 and #3 prior to the ACCESS administration.

Note: When it is not possible to complete all ELD Benchmarks and PLPs before administering the ACCESS, then the ELD Benchmark Assessment and PLP #2 can be completed after ACCESS.

RLA Mastery Guarantees

STAAR® RLA Mastery Guarantees
3rd-5th Grade Versions

We Guarantee that all Students will pass the annual RLA STAAR® Assessment as measured by the RLA STAAR® PLD (Performance Level Descriptor – Approaches, Meets, and Masters). OR, we will provide an HB1416 Accelerated Instruction course at no charge.

To qualify for the Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

1. Purchase the RLA STAAR® Mastery course for all students districtwide OR schoolwide for each course purchased (3rd-5th).

2. Purchase Professional Development, including Professional Learning Coaching Sessions.

3. Students must complete the following RLA Progress Monitoring Benchmarks and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) prior to the administration of the RLA STAAR® Assessment:

Pre-test and PLP #1
Interim Focus on Fiction and PLP #2
Interim Non-Literary and PLP #3
Interim Mixed Genres and PLP #4
Summative and PLP #5

4. Program Implementation must begin no later than November 1st of the School Year in which the Guarantee would apply.

STAAR® RLA Mastery Guarantees
6th-8th Grade and English I/II Versions

To qualify for the Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

1. Purchase the RLA STAAR® Mastery OR STAAR® EOC Mastery course for all students districtwide OR schoolwide for each course purchased (6th-8th, English I, English II).

2. Purchase Professional Development, including Professional Learning Coaching Sessions.

3. Students must complete the following RLA Progress Monitoring Benchmarks and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) prior to the administration of the RLA STAAR® and STAAR® EOC Assessment:

Pre-test and PLP #1
Interim #1 and PLP #2
Interim #2 and PLP #3
Summative and PLP #4

4. Program Implementation must begin no later than November 1st of the School Year in which the Guarantee would apply.

Science STAAR® and STAAR® EOC Guarantees

STAAR® Science Mastery Guarantees
5th and 8th Grade Versions

We Guarantee that all Students will pass the annual Science STAAR® Assessment as measured by the Science STAAR® PLD (Performance Level Descriptor – Approaches, Meets, and Masters). OR, we will provide an HB1416 Accelerated Instruction course at no charge.

To qualify for the Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

1. Purchase the Science STAAR® Mastery course for all 5th or 8th Grade students district wide OR school wide for all 5th or 8th Grade students.

2. Purchase Professional Development, including Professional Learning Coaching Sessions.

3. Students must complete the following Science STAAR® Readiness Practice Test and STAAR® Review Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) prior to the administration of the Science STAAR® Assessment:

Biology Version

We Guarantee that all Students will pass the annual spring Biology STAAR® EOC Assessment as measured by the Biology STAAR® EOC PLD (Performance Level Descriptor – Approaches, Meets, and Masters).

OR, We will provide at no charge an HB1416 Accelerated Instruction course, OR the student can continue using the Summit K12 resources to prepare for retests (summer/fall) until they pass the Biology STAAR® EOC.

To qualify for the Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

1. Purchase the Biology STAAR® EOC Mastery course for all Biology students districtwide OR schoolwide.

2. Purchase Professional Development, including Professional Learning Coaching Sessions.

3. Students must complete the following Biology STAAR® EOC Readiness Practice Test and STAAR® EOC Review Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) prior to the administration of the Biology STAAR® Assessment:
