Connect to Literacy™ — Texas Language Proficiency Growth Guarantee

We guarantee that each Emergent Bilingual student will demonstrate at least one level of growth in language proficiency each school year, as measured by the TELPAS Composite Score compared to the previous year. If a student does not show this year-over-year progress, we will refund or credit the license fee for that student.

To qualify for the guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Purchase the Connect to Literacy Program for all Emergent Bilingual students districtwide OR schoolwide if purchased at the school level.
  2. Purchase Professional Development – Including Initial and Follow-Up Teacher PD and Leadership Check-ins.
  3. Participate in an Implementation Planning Meeting to establish a detailed timeline and milestones for program rollout.
  4. Ensure students complete the following ELD Assessments and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) prior to the administration of the TELPAS Assessment:
    1. Listening-Speaking ELD BOY Assessment and PLP #1
    2. Reading-Writing ELD BOY Assessment and PLP #1
    3. Listening-Speaking ELD MOY Assessment and PLP #2
    4. Reading-Writing ELD MOY Assessment and PLP #2
  5. Begin program Implementation no later than September of the school year in which the guarantee would apply.
  6. Students must have taken TELPAS during the previous school year.

Connect to Literacy™ – WIDA™ ACCESS™ Language Proficiency Growth Guarantee

We guarantee that each Multilingual Language Learner will demonstrate at least one level of growth in language proficiency each school year, as measured by the WIDA™ ACCESS™ compared to the previous year. If a student does not show this year-over-year progress, we will refund or credit the license fee for that student.

To qualify for the guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Purchase the Connect to Literacy Program for all Emergent Bilingual students districtwide OR schoolwide if purchased at the school level.
  2. Purchase Professional Development – Including Initial and Follow-Up Teacher PD and Leadership Check-ins.
  3. Participate in an Implementation Planning Meeting to establish a detailed timeline and milestones for program rollout.
  4. Ensure students complete the following ELD Assessments and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) prior to the administration of the WIDA™ ACCESS™:

    4. Speaking-Writing – Expressive Mode ELD MOY Assessment and PLP #2
  5. Begin program implementation no later than September of the school year, during which the guarantee will apply.
  6. Students must have taken the State ELP assessment during the previous school year.

We guarantee that each Multilingual/English Learner will demonstrate at least one level of growth in language proficiency each school year, as measured by the ELPAC Overall Score compared to the previous year. If a student does not show this year-over-year progress, we will refund or credit the license fee for that student.

To qualify for the guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Purchase the Connect to Literacy Program for all Emergent Bilingual students districtwide OR schoolwide if purchased at the school level.
  2. Purchase Professional Development – Including Initial and Follow-Up Teacher PD and Leadership Check-ins.

STAAR® RLA Mastery Guarantees

3rd-8th Grade, English I and English II

We guarantee that all Students will pass the annual RLA STAAR® Assessment as measured by the RLA STAAR® PLD (Performance Level Descriptor – Approaches, Meets, and Masters) OR, we will provide an HB1416 Accelerated Instruction course at no charge.

To qualify for the guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Purchase the RLA STAAR® Mastery course for all students districtwide OR schoolwide for each course purchased (3rd-5th).
  2. Purchase and complete Professional Development.
  3. Program Implementation must begin no later than February 15th of the school year in which the guarantee would apply.
  4. Students must complete the following STAAR® Readiness Practice Test and STAAR® Review Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) prior to the administration of the RLA STAAR® Assessment:

STAAR® Science Mastery Guarantees

5th and 8th Grade 

We guarantee that all students will pass the annual Science STAAR® Assessment as measured by the Science STAAR® PLD (Performance Level Descriptor – Approaches, Meets, and Masters). OR, we will provide an HB1416 Accelerated Instruction course at no charge.

  1. To qualify for the guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
  2. Purchase the Science STAAR® Mastery course for all 5th or 8th Grade students district wide OR school wide for all 5th or 8th Grade students.
  3. Purchase and complete Professional Development.
  4. Program Implementation must begin no later than February 15th of the school year in which the guarantee would apply.
  5. Students must complete the Readiness Practice Test and STAAR® Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) prior to the administration of the Science STAAR® Assessment:

Biology

We guarantee that all students will pass the annual spring Biology STAAR® EOC Assessment as measured by the Biology STAAR® EOC PLD (Performance Level Descriptor – Approaches, Meets, and Masters) OR, we will provide an HB1416 Accelerated Instruction course at no cost, OR the student can continue using the Summit K12 resources to prepare for retests (summer/fall) until they pass the Biology STAAR® EOC.

To qualify for the guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Purchase the Biology STAAR® EOC Mastery course for all Biology students districtwide OR schoolwide.
  2. Purchase Professional Development.
  3. Program Implementation must begin no later than February 15th of the school year in which the guarantee would apply.
  4. Students must complete the Readiness Practice Test and STAAR® EOC Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) prior to the administration of the Biology STAAR® Assessment:
